Movies tend to romanticize whatever it is, that they show. It may be because of this but I have always wanted to live on an island. Like there are two people inside me. One who asks me to go out and explore every corner of the world. The other asks me to bring everything and everyone I love, place them on a small island, and never leave. (I’d be the queen of course.) And then the big question hit me, what are the best islands to visit?
Haven’t you seen how islands are always beautiful? Even the simplest island has a certain charm that silently makes us appreciate the beauty of it. The blue waters, the sandy beaches, and palm trees that come to our mind when we think of an island, all add color to the dream of landing on an island shore.
Another important factor in consideration: Shakira, Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, Moana, Gilligan, all of them own islands.
When you think about some beautiful places to put in your bucket list, there’s always at least one island that comes to your mind. So now, we thought of compiling a list of the 10 best islands for you to visit.
(But keep this in mind. These are by no means the best set of islands in the world. They are just my personal favorite list of the best islands to visit and very likely, they will be yours too 😉.)

However, an important thing to note about Maui is that it hasn’t given in to tourism. It still preserves its culture and is a valuable part of the Hawaiian community.

Santorini is also said to be the perfect romantic getaway for many couples. The black and red sand beaches, as well as the Caldera, are places that you have to definitely go to. These are sites that are to be felt and experienced rather than just seen.
Santorini is also a culinary lifestyle. They promise to serve both our eyes as well as our taste buds.
